A panel of food trend experts have nibbled their way through the largest Winter Fancy Food Show in its 40-year history to identify the top five trends bound for store shelves in the coming year.

Dow AgroSciences unveiled a saturated fat free Omega-9 Sunflower Oil at the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Annual Meeting and Food Expo in New Orleans. According to the company, the oil also has zero trans fats and is uniquely high in heart-healthy monounsaturated fats.

Archer Daniels Midland Company is introducing several new food ingredients and feature a wide range of its high-quality ingredients at the 2011 Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Food Expo in New Orleans.
