Stanmar International, San Diego, extended its Simply Delish line with two new Keto-certified protein powders in Chocolate and Vanilla flavors. Each 0.5oz pouch contributes 10g of plant-based protein (pea, fava bean) 0g added sugar and just five calories. The all-natural powders also are ketogenic certified, gluten-free, vegan, allergen-free, Kosher, and also halal certified. They’re sweetened with stevia
The Simply Delish line also includes Keto instant puddings and sugar-free, plant-based jel desserts.
Protein Meets Pumpkin
Chike Nutrition LLC, Abilene, Tex., extended its Chike Protein Iced coffee powder line with a Pumpkin Spice flavor. Each serving of Chike Pumpkin Spice Protein Iced Coffee contains 20g of non-GMO protein, two shots of real espresso coffee (150mg of caffeine), 1g of sugar and 110 calories. Officials note Chike Pumpkin Spice Protein Iced Coffee powder can mixed with water and consumed or added to other recipes.
The limited-edition, seasonal flavor is available online at iLikeChike.com, as well as at participating grocery chains such as H-E-B/Central Market, Wegmans, Hy-Vee, United Supermarket/Market Street, and Winn-Dixie. Other Chike Protein Iced Coffee varieties include Mocha, Vanilla, and Caramel
Crispy, Chewy
Having debuted with granola bars, Junkless Foods Inc., Portage, Mich., extended its namesake line with two new varieties of Junkless Plant Power Crispy Chewy Protein Bars. The bars have 8g of plant-based protein and are available in two flavors: Double Chocolate Brownie and Peanut Butter Delight, with seven bars per box.
They contain only 6g of sugars (and no sugar alcohols) in each 31g bar, as well as 4g of fiber, and no high fructose corn syrup. Both flavors are non-GMO and do not contain any artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors. Officials says the bars contain a balanced blend of energy nutrients from plant-based protein, grains, and fats. The bars are available in approximately 1100 Walmart stores nationwide.
Savory Soup Flavors
Ancient Brands LLC, Franklin, Tenn., extended its Bone Broth Protein line with three savory, soup-inspired flavors: Bone Broth Protein Chicken Soup, Butternut Squash and Tomato Basil. Ancient Nutrition's patented Bone Broth Protein is a powdered, concentrated form of bone broth. It offers 15g of protein, collagen types I, II and III, chondroitin, glucosamine, hyaluronic acid and amino acids.
The new 11.4oz varieties will retail for $49.95 and are made with non-GMO, pasture-raised, grass-fed and cruelty-free beef and US-raised chicken sources. Officials note the Chicken Soup flavor will also come in seven, single serving packets for easy, on-the-go use.
