Nestlé Professional, Solon, Ohio, expanded its coffee portfolio with the launch of NESCAFÉ Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate.
The concentrate comes in a 30-ounce carton (available in two-packs or 12-packs) and operators simply mix this new frozen product with water and serve over ice. It makes for an easy, efficient alternative to the operational complexity of slow brewing cold brew coffee in house.
“‘Cold Brew’ is all about its smooth, delicious flavor, which is why we have taken great care in selecting and cold brewing a unique blend of coffee beans for our NESCAFE Cold Brew,” says Florence Pompeu, category marketing associate for the company’s Beverages USA business. “Traditional cold brew requires specialized equipment and lots of time. We make it easy for our customers with a simple, sustainable and scalable solution to add value and profit to their menu.”
NESCAFÉ Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate is made with only coffee and water—no preservatives or additives—using select beans that have been sustainably sourced. Nestlé Professional says it recreates the slow, gentle brewing process “for a delicious, consistently smooth cup of coffee with subtly sweet notes.”
According to 2016 Datassential report, “Next Generation Coffee Rituals,” cold brew coffee had a meteoric 401% growth in menu penetration between 2011 and 2016.
