Newly Weds Foods, Inc. announced the acquisition of Mullins Food Products, a sauce supplier in the US. The company was established in 1934 and currently operates out of its facility in Broadview, Ill. MFP manufactures and packages virtually every type of sauce, dressing and condiment for some of the largest food service and retail companies.

Charles T. Angell, President of Newly Weds Foods said, “The acquisition of Mullins Food Products fits well with our strategy to expand capabilities and offerings in sauces, as well as other liquids to grow and enhance our food ingredient portfolio. It provides Newly Weds Foods with a unique opportunity to grow Mullins Food Products into a recognized name around the world.”

Terms of the acquisition have not been announced.
