Beretta Farms launched its new chicken strips, an addition to its line of frozen entrées. The strips are made with white meat sliced from whole chicken breasts, along with being free from any preservatives, artificial colors or flavors. All Beretta chicken is raised without the use of antibiotics or hormones.
The chicken strips join three other entrées on the shelves of retailers; chili, shepherd’s pie and lasagna. All three of the existing entrées, are produced in Canada with grain-fed, hormone and antibiotic free Angus beef and are comprised of authentic ingredients. As well, both the chili and shepherd’s pie are gluten-free. The homemade recipes designed by Cynthia Beretta herself, ensure that the easy-to-prepare meals offer a nutritious entrée to your dinner table. All dishes are easy to heat, simply by placing them in the oven or in the microwave.
In a sector undergoing a revitalization focused on fresh and natural ingredients Beretta has taken the next step by providing consumers options made with clean ingredients and ethically raised proteins. “We understand that time is precious and while a roast dinner is delicious, sometimes you just need something easy. Our frozen meals are made with that in mind, using the proteins we’ve raised with care, because we don’t think you should have to sacrifice quality and health for convenience,” said Cynthia Beretta.
The Beretta chicken breast strips will live alongside the Beretta chili, lasagna, and shepherd's pie at grocery stores across the GTA including La Salumeria, Rowe Farms, the Garden Basket, select Foodland locations, Whole Foods Markets and many more.
