Chicago/Press Release -- LycoRed, Israel, part of Adama Group, announced the appointment of Rony Patishi-Chillim as its new CEO, effective October 1, 2014. This announcement follows the decision of LycoRed’s current CEO, Morris Zelkha, to step down after more than 20 years as CEO. Zelkha will continue to act as an advisor to the new CEO.

This change is part of a broader set of organizational changes announced by Chen Lichtenstein, Adama president and CEO.

“Adama views LycoRed as an important component in its overall strategy to lead by delivering effective and reliable nutritional solutions,” says Lichtenstein. “We see great potential in LycoRed’s strong foundations in areas of science, operations and market reach that will allow us to further enhance our nutrition activities. We’re grateful to Morris for his significant contribution in building a growth-driven organization with strong global capabilities and reputation. Morris is an outstanding professional, with outstanding business insight, and we look forward to his guidance as Rony and the LycoRed team continue to expand on his foundation.”

“It has been an honor for me to have the opportunity to lead such an outstanding group of individuals and professionals who share a commitment for excellence and innovation,” says Zelkha. “I will continue to support Rony and the team, and am confident LycoRed will continue growing through product portfolio expansion and improved market reach.”
