December 14/New York -- Fuze recently expanded its line-up of beverages with the introduction of a collection of iced teas and juice drinks.
“Fuze taps into consumers’ desire for great-tasting refreshment, appealing to both Millennials (ages 18-34) and the fast-growing multicultural population segment,” said Bill Medbery, director, strategy and development, Coca-Cola Refreshments, based on Harrison Group, RTD Tea Segmentation data. “In response, we are continuing to invest in the Fuze brand as total tea servings have dramatically increased in restaurants over the past decade.”
The Fuze line-up includes bottled iced teas which features a blend of natural flavors and offers consumers a good source of vitamins B6 and B12; available in all Fuze products except Honey and Ginseng Green Tea. The foodservice offerings include post-mix tea available in bag-in-box (BIB) packaging for fountain dispensers, 20-ounce bottles and fresh-brewed tea served via Fuze tea urns.
“Fuze beverages are a delicious fusion of diverse ingredients and flavors with a bold refreshing taste,” Medbery added. “Fuze on the fountain helps foodservice operators capture sales, while providing an operationally efficient business solution with no waste and no clean-up from tea brewing.” There are five fountain flavors ranging from 0-40 calories per 8 fl. oz. serving size with 1/3 cup of ice.
