Shanghai Freeman in Distribution Agreement for Jivita Beta Carotene

Shanghai Freemen and Hubei Guangji Pharm Co. Ltd. (GJPC) signed a four-year exclusive distribution agreement for the Jivita beta carotene line. The agreement gives Shanghai Freemen the sole rights to represent Jivita in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

“Guangji’s hard work and technical expertise combined with our position and operations in the North American market have created the ideal environment to grow the Jivita business together. The Jivita line will prove to be not only a product of quality, but also a product that comes with great service,” stated David Zhang, founding partner and CEO of Shanghai Freemen Lifescience.

The products are derived from a natural source that is fermented into the pure beta carotene form. In addition the USP grade crystals, the Jivita line will also consist of 10% and 20% beadlets, cold water soluble (CWS) forms and oil emulsions.

GJPC will begin commercial production of Jivita in Q4 of 2011.
