Kraft Foods Corporation plans to invest $50 million in the construction of a logistics center in Sumy region, Kraft Foods Ukraine Board Chairman Yuriy Lohush has said.
"We plan to invest $50 million in a logistics center," he said at the Investment in Sumy Region seminar in Kyiv.
Lohush has not disclosed other details of the project.
Kraft Foods has been working in Ukraine since 1994. It produces chocolate, coffee, cookies, salty snacks and chewing gum. It includes the Trostianets confectionery and the Vyshgorod branch producing potato chips (Kyiv region).
In Ukraine, the company sells products under the trademarks of Korona, Milka, Vedmedyk Barni, Lux, Jacobs, and Carte Noire.
