Dennis Riddle has been named senior advisor, Corn, and has announced his intention to retire within the year. In his new role, Riddle will work with leaders in the Corn business unit to ensure an effective transition. Riddle joined ADM in 1999, was elected a corporate vice president in 2006, and most recently served as president, Sweeteners and Starches. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from High Point University and an MBA from Duke University.
Chris Cuddy has been named vice president and general manager, Sweeteners and Starches. Cuddy joined ADM in 1998 and has served in a range of merchandising and sales management roles. Most recently, he served as president, Almidones Mexicanos, SA de CV, an ADM joint venture. Prior to that, he served as vice president, Corn Processing, and as a senior commodity trader. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Appalachian State University.
Alex Martinez has been named president, Almidones Mexicanos, SA de CV. ALMEX is a joint venture of Controladora ADM, SA DE CV, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of ADM and Tate & Lyle. Located in Guadalajara, Mexico, ALMEX processes corn for sweeteners and starches. Martinez joined ADM in 1997 and has served in various commercial and marketing management positions within the Oilseeds and Agricultural Services business units. He most recently served as general manager, ADM Latin America. Martinez received a Bachelor of Science degree in food and resource economics from the University of Florida.
