Red Bull Wants a Double

February 14/Vienna, Austria/Austria Presse Agentur -- Dietrich Mateschitz, the owner of Austrian energy drink producer Red Bull, told the daily Salzburger Nachrichten he believes the company could raise sales of cans from 4.2 billion produced at the moment to 6-8 billion cans within five to eight years.

The CEO perceives China as the market with the biggest growth potential: the company plans to increase sales to 600-700 million cans per year. Other expansion markets include Japan, India, Pakistan and South America. However, Austria remains Red Bull´s best market, he noted.
