Mollicoolz has introduced Figure Friendly, a new line of healthy ice cream shakes. The Double Chocolate Flavored Milkshake Mixer offers low-fat ice cream beads designed to be added to skim milk. It is said to be a good source of calcium and contains only 150 calories, when combined with skim milk. The idea of cryogenically frozen ice cream is not new, with Dippin’ Dots marketing the idea at amusement parks and sporting events. However, Mollicoolz has developed beads that can be stored in standard freezers, allowing their product to be distributed in supermarkets. The Figure Friendly range is an attempt to reach a broader audience, mostly health-conscious women. This is a smart move by the company, given the growing market for healthy snacks and desserts.
