On the Street -- New President at Oberto

July 1/Business & Finance Week -- After conducting a national search, the board of directors of the Oberto Sausage Company announced that Tom Ennis will become its new president.

Ennis is an experienced packaged goods veteran who joined the company two years ago as its vice president of Marketing to help Oberto accelerate its growth. Under Ennis' leadership, Oberto has crafted a new "go to market" business model, developed successful new products and brands and launched Oberto's first national brand campaign for its namesake meat snacks line.

Previously, Ennis worked for Unilever, Dial and Brinker International. He has managed and successfully led such brands as Lipton Tea, Ragu Pasta Sauce and Dial Soap, among others.

"Tom brings a wealth of experience, a fantastic track record and tremendous leadership," said Oberto chairman Dennis Delaye. "Oberto is fortunate to have a proven brand builder and world-class marketer at the helm who will help drive our future growth and success."
