Frutarom USA released new results from a study showing Neuravena R, an extract derived from a proprietary strain of wild green oat, was found to significantly reduce the average number of cigarettes smoked per day. Neuravena is a patented extract from a wild green-oat herb, bioactivity-tested and clinically supported to improve overall mental fitness and cognitive performance in stressful situations. The study was conducted with a group of male volunteers who smoked an average of nearly one pack (20 cigarettes) per day. Neuravena was found to significantly reduce the average number of cigarettes smoked per day by 55.4 % at the end of the trial, compared to initial numbers.
