Coca-Cola was sued by a consumer group claiming that the company fraudulently marketed its Enviga green tea as a weight-loss product.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest claimed that Coca-Cola and Nestle, its partner in the venture, falsely claimed that the soft drink sped up metabolism by combining caffeine and a green tea antioxidant.

Coca-Cola had been selling Enviga in selected U.S. markets since November but only started distributing it nationally Monday.
