In this newly created post, Siep Hiemstra will oversee the growth of Heineken and will continue to expand the company's business activities in the Asia Pacific region.

He is a member of the Asia Pacific Breweries executive committee and, on a global basis, a member of the executive committee of Heineken. He is also the chairman of Heineken Asia Pacific and Asia Pacific Investment. He previously headed the company's technical arm.
