Tate & Lyle plc, a manufacturer of renewable food and industrial ingredients, said it had established a new Global Food Ingredients Group.
The new organization will be responsible for marketing Tate & Lyle's range of food ingredients and also looking at future growth opportunities, according to the company. It will be led by Mark White, the current chief executive of Sugars, Europe, who became president of Global Food Ingredients as of October 1, 2005.
A successor to White has not yet been announced, but Rod Burden, currently financial director of Sugars, Europe, has been named as the interim chief executive of the division in addition to his current responsibilities.
