Justin Singer is the CEO and co-founder of Ripple. Founded in 2014, Ripple pioneered both the microdose and dissolvable powders categories in Colorado, and to this day remains the only cannabis edibles company using published, peer-reviewed human clinical research to substantiate its claims. Prior to Ripple, Justin taught innovation theory and high-growth entrepreneurship at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University while also working as a product, strategy, and operations consultant to a variety of early-stage startups. He began his career as an investor with IA Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital firm investing in technology companies that create competitive advantage through big data. Justin is also the CEO and co-founder of Caliper Foods, a functional foods company focused on bringing soluble hemp-derived cannabinoids to the mass market through both ingredients and consumer products.
Justin holds an MBA and JD from Columbia University and a BBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. He resides in Boulder with his wife, son, and goldendoodle.

This session will begin with an overview of Ripple dissolvables, quicksticks, and gummies fit into the market for medical and adult-use products in the Colorado and Michigan markets, addressing various product development and industry dynamics:
- Published, peer-reviewed studies substantiating “fast acting” claims
- Quality = consistency
- Controlling consistency through raw material inputs like distillate partners, sensory standards, and potency standards for repeatable experiences
- Manufacturing methods like formulations (ingredients, ratios, mixing), SOPs (accuracy, comprehensiveness, and adherence), intermediate goods testing, filling (“the fill makes the dose”), and quality control
- Product launch, including sales and marketing (“don’t promise what you can’t deliver”)
